Best Mexican food I've had in Nashville. The quality of the ingredients are great and it's very authentic. I'm a regular here and I'm from a place that has good Mexican food! Try the asado tacos with green chile!

The best Mexican restaurant I can find in Nashville. Limited menu

This place serves the best quesabirria I’ve ever had. They use handmade tortillas, and the birria is deliciously seasoned. The owner makes it, I highly recommend it.

If you live in the area of town that I live in taqueria stands are all around. If you're craving an authentic Mexican taco, you can pull up to a number of places but as I was driving one day, I noticed this place. An actual brick-and-mortar with Elote in the name, so needless to say, I had to stop in. I love elote, grilled corned coated with mayo, cotija cheese, and chili powder ... oh me, oh my. The menu is small and if my Spanish was better then I'd elaborate more but as it stands, I can't. I ordered 2 tacos, chicken and beef, and elote. The tacos were decent. Served with chopped white onions and cilantro on tortillas with a lime wedge. The elote was not served on the cob but whole kernel corn, topped with a layer of mayo, cheese, and a dash of chili powder in a container. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but just wasn't grilled which isn't what I was expecting. The price point is extremely reasonable. Nashville has become a $3-$5 taco city but for $1.50 each, I'm game. Parking is a breeze and it was all less than $7. For cheap eats, if I'm passing it again and am in need of tacos, I'm game.

Tacos are great! Elote was not what I expected, but definitely was not upset. Really good food.

Wouldn't go back. Even though the server was sweet the service was not good. Stressed my allergy and order still came wrong (usually not server's fault but when check came, noticed it wasn't written on original order) Had to keep asking for stuff we ordered and never got some items after multiple reminders. The chicken, lengua (tongue), carne asada (steak) and al pastor tacos were all good. Only disappointing part about the al pastor was there were no pineapple pieces to be found in tacos and the portions were skimp. Also ordered an al pastor gordita, it was skimp and was completely surprised it was served with bottled parmesan cheese instead of cotija cheese, like wow! The elote (corn) comes in a cup vs on the cob and clearly tasted like canned corn vs real. The handmade tortillas are pillowy, delicious and the saving grace of the restaurant but be aware they upcharge for them. I ordered pico de gallo enchilado (fresh pico de gallo with diced spicy peppers) that was fantastic and just the right amount of spice I wanted. The agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus juice) was pretty standard. Also they quarter paper towels to use for napkins and they literally give you 1 paper towel sheet for a table of 4, kinda ridiculous especially when the food ordered is utensil free cuisine.
